zAurum is a project dedicated to creating free, open-source software designed to interface with electronic currency providers (ECP), to meet the following needs:

mass payment automation (mass payment software)
universal shopping cart interface to allow using many a ECP to receive payments for goods and services
complete automated payment systems to run shops, affiliate programs and so on

Apart from being multi-platform in design, zAurum products are developed to make them multi-language, easily expandable.

ZAurum/Ara forums (English and Russian) have been created to support general discussion related to zAurum tools and Ara project

3-rd of May, 2003

zAurum C entered testing phase (CLI version)

29-th of April, 2003

zAurum PHP 0.7.1 is available (first public release)

Components and tasks

ZAurum is a composition of lesser individual projects, each of them donating to the solving of the global project goal. These subprojects include

zAurum mass payment software

zAurum PHP: (release 0.7.1 available) PHP application able to perform mass payment (currently supporting e-gold).

zAurum C: (under development) C CLI version of the mentioned above zAurum PHP.

zAurum Java: (under development) Java GUI version of the mentioned above zAurum PHP.

zAurum Shopping Cart

zAurum SC PHP: (under development) PHP classes allowing to integrate interactive merchant interface into [existing] Web sites.

Other subprojects are in «planning» stage; when they are closer to development, there will be more news on them.

As projects grow, I will be in need of assistance of many kinds. Please visit the zAurum project page from time to time if you can help me.

Feedback

There are forums and mailing lists on zAurum project page. Please refer to those to provide your suggestions, comments and so on. Those are most effective support means -- the more popular is the software, the more interesting it is to develop it.

You can support the project in many ways; but please keep in mind that this is free software. Although you can donate to this project and this will most probably speed up greatly the development, you are not obliged to, as long as you comply with the license under which the software is released.
